UNESCO POSTCARDS

My name is Sandra. This site displays my collection of Unesco World Heritage Site postcards. I´ve started my collection in 2010 and am lucky enough to add cards frequently.

Why Unesco sites?

There are so many amazing places on earth, it´s hard to decide which ones to collect. I started out by just collecting postcards of places I liked, but I wanted some structure to it. I still keep all the postcards I like, but aside from that I decided to use the Unesco WHS list as a guide to try and collect cards of many places in the world.

Which sites did you receive?

Go to the regional pages to see all of the Unesco sites. Here you can see with a color code of which sites I have received a card and from which ones not yet.

How do you get your cards?

In many ways! I love getting cards from my friends and family, but unfortunately, no one can travel that much! I also try to visit Unesco sites myself, but again, there are too many to manage on my own. Most of my postcards come throguh exchanges or through Postcrossing (see logo in the footer of the page).
